AND AS THE ARTIST OF THAT PAINTING I MUST FILL IN ALL
THE UGLY HOLES AND MAKE IT BEAUTIFUL AGAIN"

HOW IT ALL STARTED
We all know the good old cliché of finding a passion in our childhood years, which, to some extent, is true in my case as well. However, what really influenced my decision to create music videos was a conversation that put everything into perspective and helped me find a niche I truly loved. A first instinct I notice often, including in me at that time, is finding excuses and shortcomings as to why the time is not right. My shortcoming at that time was not owning a DSLR camera to make things look relatively professional if I were to start. Consequently, the first five videos were shot on borrowed DSRLs, my digital camera and a GoPro, until I realised I wasn’t going to stop pursuing this passion anytime soon.
Just like in the beginning, my music videos are inspired by real life experiences I alter and reconstruct through symbols and imagery, influenced by the state of mind I was in at that moment in time. I draw my main influences from growing up watching horror movies, pop music videos and live performances, which is why a lot of the aesthetics I use are relatively dark and mysterious, because of my perception on the experience and childhood visual influences.
The song selection process happens randomly, whenever a song speaks to me lyrically and scenes start to take shape in my head as I go to sleep or commute.
The conceptual process usually takes about 4-8 months and regarding the production stage, I try to squeeze in as much filming as possible within a two week period of being in my home country. Oftentimes I get asked about how many people are involved during the production stages and so far it has always been me, the actress/es and my parents helping around as much as possible.
